About S R M Institute of hotel management :
Every year the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and Ministry of Tourism awards “National awards for excellence in Hospitality Education” to recognize outstanding performance of the students in Hospitality Education. The students of SRM Institute of Hotel Management have consistently bagged gold and silver medals for the past four consecutive years.
This year Mr. Sudhakar Trivedi and Mr.Sattwik Mohanty have won Gold and silver Medals ranking 1st and 2nd in All India Examination (academic session 2011-2012) conducted by NCHMCT, Noida. Over and above Mr. Sudhakar Trivedi has received an overall gold medal for the academic excellence for the batch 2009-2012. It is a proud moment for SRMIHM to have maintained the Top rankings through the years.
The Students received Gold and Silver Medals respectively from the Hon’ble Minister of state for Tourism (Independent Charge) Dr. Chiranjeevi at a function organized by Ministry of Tourism at DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi on April 5, 2013. Also present during the occasion was Ms. Usha Sharma, Additional Director General, Ministry of Tourism and CEO, NCHMCT.
